About the project

Local Access were appointed on the Morgan Sindall site at Birchington Primary School to install a HAKI staircase and handrail system, providing safe roof access ahead of demolition works.

The access was required to enable the safe removal of gases from the air conditioning units as part of the preparatory works. With a tight programme in place, a quick turnaround was essential to ensure the project remained on schedule.

In addition, we installed independent scaffolding to provide safe access for inspection works to this section of the building. The works were delivered efficiently and in line with site requirements, supporting the continued progress of the project.
