About the project

The Princess Royal Pub in Folkestone had stood unused for several years and had become structurally unsafe.

DDS Demolition were awarded the main works, and we secured the contract to design and install the required scaffold system.

The bespoke scaffold was designed to:
– Provide safe access for the contractor
– Stabilize vulnerable areas of the structure
– Allow detailed inspection to determine the next phase of works

The overall aim of the project is to preserve and restore as much of the original building as possible. Our scaffold installation ensured the site remained safe, compliant, and accessible while these decisions are being made.
