White Cliffs Protection Works

At the Port of Dover, we were appointed to support specialist contractors working on the iconic White Cliffs of Dover.

CAN Ltd, based in Derbyshire, secured the contract to carry out works to make safe and install protective netting to the cliff face. Due to their distance from site, they required a reliable local scaffolding contractor. After identifying us through SafeContractor, we were contacted and subsequently awarded the contract. We developed and installed a purpose-designed scaffolding and protection scheme to safeguard multiple sensitive areas, including, Fuel tanks ,Buildings with glazed elevations and Pedestrian walkways. The system was designed to provide comprehensive debris protection, enabling works to proceed on the cliff face without risk of falling materials impacting the operational port environment. All scaffolding and protection measures were subject to regular inspections throughout the duration of the project, ensuring continued compliance and safety until completion of the works
